PSV Eindhoven avoided a slip on Sunday as they came from behind to record a 3-1 victory at RKC Waalwijk.

After missing the Europa League clash in midweek, Steven Bergwijn returned to the PSV line-up and made his 100th league appearance for the club.

RKC were not scared of the visitors and created several opportunities to take the lead before they eventually did just before the break. Stanley Elbers set up Melle Meulensteun for a simple finish past Jeroen Zoet.

Shortly after the break, Mohamed Ihattaren should of equalised for the hosts as he found himself in front of goal but the youngster put his finish wide of the post. However, the 17-year-old did play a crucial role in the 65th minute as his cross was put into his own net by Paul Quasten for an own goal.

Eleven minutes later, Denzel Dumfries headed a corner into the path of Timo Baumgartl who found the net with a lovely volleyed finish. A minute later, substitute Bruma raced through on goal before setting up Kostas Mitroglou to seal a 3-1 victory.

Just like Ajax, PSV Eindhoven have ten points from four games and they currently sit third. RKC Waalwijk remains bottom of the table.
