PSV reportedly agreed a deal with Almere City weeks ago but the midfielder’s participation in the U19 European Championships held up the deal. On Monday, Rosario passed his medical in Eindhoven and put pen to paper on his four-year deal.
Speaking to PSV TV, Rosario said, “When news spread that I was set to sign for PSV, the guys told me to join PSV straightaway.
“It’s very nice I know some of my new team-mates. I am happy with his move forward in my career. I really relish the challenging of playing for PSV.”
Rosario was born in Amsterdam and started his career with Ajax, but despite being highly rated the midfielder was released and joined Almere City in 2014. He became a first team regular, scoring three goals in 34 Eerste Divisie ties.
Rosario will be part of Jong PSV’s squad in the Eerste Divisie next season.
