PSV Eindhoven director Marcel Brands has confirmed the club are working hard on signing a new left-back.

Jetro Willems sealed his move to Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday leaving PSV short on full backs. However, speaking to Fox Sports, Brands confirmed that talks are being held with a new left-back.
He told a reporter, “We are talking to a candidate, it’s a real left-back. He does not come from the Netherlands”
Adam Maher was not given a shirt number by PSV in their official squad list released on Saturday and Brands believes that the midfielder will leave the club before the transfer window shuts.
He said, “He has chosen to stay in the league. We are assuming he will find a new club before August 31. You never know, but that’s the expectation yes.”
