PSV Eindhoven have confirmed the signing of striker Eran Zahavi on a two-year deal.

With Sam Lammers set to leave for Atalanta Bergamo, PSV needed a new striker and the move for Zahavi has been swift.

The 33-year-old Israeli international is a transfer free from Guangzhou R&F and signs a contract until 2022.

He told the PSV website, “I had a great time in China, but I want to show what I can do in Europe. PSV is a great opportunity for me. Playing for the prizes and offensive football. There is a great challenge here and I look forward to playing in the Netherlands.”

Zahavi has previously played for Maccabi Tel Aviv, Palermo and Hapoel Tel Aviv. He moved to China in 2016, and has scored 103 times in 117 appearances.
