Last week’s 5-1 win in Eindhoven put PSV in a commanding position heading to Turkey and Roger Schmidt made only one change. Cody Gakpo came into the side for Yorbe Vertessen.
After 37 minutes, PSV had the lead with a free-kick punched into the path of Noni Madueke, who fired past Fernando Muslera from the edge of the box.
Marco van Ginkel doubled the lead in the second half with a front post finish from a Mario Gotze cross in the 59th minute.
PSV were easing to victory but in the 74th minute, Olivier Boscagli was sent off for his second yellow card. That means the centre-back will be suspended for the first-leg of the next round.
Mbaye Diagne pulled a goal back but it was nothing but a consolation for the hosts, who could not find an equaliser before the end.
PSV Eindhoven progresses and will either face Midtjylland or Celtic in the next round. The win means that PSV are now at least guaranteed group stage football in the Europa League.
