Earlier this week it was confirmed that PSV had beaten Porto to the 24-year-old’s signature but the deal took a few days to finally complete.
Bruma has signed a five-year deal in Eindhoven with PSV reportedly paying Red Bull Leipzig a fee of €12 million.
PSV boss Mark van Bommel told the club’s website, “A player with the qualities of Bruma fits perfectly in the way we play. We have an extra option with him and that is – considering the interest in our players – a good thing. Bruma is only 24, but already has a lot of experience with him. He has already been active in a number of top competitions and know what is involved in international football. ”
The Portuguese international started his career with Sporting club de Portugal before spells with Galatasaray, Gaziantepspor (loan), and Real Sociedad (loan).
Bruma joined Red Bull Leipzig last summer, turning down PSV, but only made 14 appearances in the Bundesliga.
With Bruma, PSV have their required attacker with Hirving Lozano and Steven Bergwijn heavily linked with moves away from the club. He joins Ibrahim Afellay and Robbin Ruiter, who signed for PSV earlier this summer.
