PSV had hoped to bring the 20-year-old to Eindhoven permanently this summer after Manchester City indicated a willingness to sell, but they have now given up on the deal. Phillip Cocu will now turn his attention to signing Porto defender Diego Reyes on loan, while Nicolas Isimat-Mirin is set to sign a five year-deal with the club after PSV agreed a €2.5 million fee with Monaco.
