rekik bRekik is currently on loan from the Premier League club until the end of the season, and has so far been one of PSV’s stand out performers this season.

The youngster’s partnership with Jeffrey Bruma has so far been successful, with both now in contention for next summers World Cup with Netherlands.

According to Voetbal International’s PSV watcher Thijs Slegers, PSV will this winter enter into negotiations with Manchester City over extending the loan to next season as well.

With first team opportunities with Manchester City at a premium, PSV will hope that the club sees Rekik better of in Eindhoven for another year instead of in their reserves.

After suffering an injury at the end of August, Rekik has now returned to training with PSV after missing the last five league games, but will not feature against Groningen this weekend.
