According to Eindhovens Dagblad, PSV Eindhoven wants to sign Torino centre-back Lyanco Vojnovic as a replacement for Daniel Schwaab.

Schwaab decided to depart PSV Eindhoven this summer for a return to Germany, meaning Mark van Bommel’s side needs a new centre-back.

Eindhovens Dagblad are reporting that PSV’s top target is Vojnovic, who spent last season on loan with Bologna from Torino.

The Brazil U23 captain is currently playing at the Toulon youth tournament but will be looking for reassurances on his future afterwards, having failed to make an impact at Torino since he joined for €7 million from São Paulo in 2017.

PSV are not the only club interested in the defender though with Zenit Saint Petersburg, AS Roma and VfL Wolfsburg all hoping to sign the Brazilian. PSV would have to pay €10 million to get their man.
