PSV Eindhoven earned their first win in three games after seeing off ADO Den Haag 3-0 in the Philips Stadion.

Phillip Cocu picked the same eleven that let a 3-1 lead slip at Groningen in midweek, while ADO Den Haag handed a debut to centre-back Nick Kuipers, who came in for the injured Tom Beugelsdijk.

The debutante had a horror start, firstly leaving Luuk de Jong free to hook in a Santiago Arias cross on five minutes, before firing an attempted clearance off the striker and into the net to make it 2-0 moments later. Kuipers miserable half continued on 36 minutes when he tripped Steven Bergwijn in the box, which allowed Marco van Ginkel to fire PSV 3-0 up from the penalty spot.

PSV failed to add to their lead in the second half while ADO Den Haag ended the game with ten men after Thomas Meissner saw his second yellow card.

The victory means PSV go eight points clear of both Ajax and AZ Alkmaar who face each other on Sunday. ADO Den Haag remain 8th.
