PSV Eindhoven kept up their perfect start in the Eredivisie with a 2-0 victory at NAC Breda on Saturday evening.

Mark van Bommel stuck with the same eleven that beat Ajax last weekend for the visit to NAC Breda, who have had a poor start to the campaign.

NAC looked to frustrate PSV from the start and the plan worked in the first half with the visitors unable to create clear-cut chances.

Two minutes into the second half, PSV broke the deadlock as Luuk de Jong latched onto an excellent Angelino pass before slotting in the opening goal. NAC hoped to have the chance to equalise moments later when the ball appeared to hit Nick Viergever on the arm, but after consulting VAR, no penalty was given.

Anouar Kali hit the woodwork as NAC threatened an equaliser, but in injury time, PSV sealed their victory through Donyell Malen, who tapped in after excellent work by Steven Bergwijn.

PSV now have seven wins out of seven in the league while NAC are rooted to the bottom.
