According to various reports, PSV Eindhoven are close to sealing a €10.5 million deal for talented Vélez Sarsfield striker Maximiliano Romero.

The 18-year-old’s agent Rolando Zárate spoke with Argentinian radio station Velez 670 and confirmed that Romero was heading to Eindhoven on Tuesday or Wednesday for a medical.
Romero was heavily linked with German side Stuttgart, but Zarate said, “PSV has also made an offer and that is the club where Max wants to play. Tuesday or Wednesday we travel to the Netherlands for a medical examination.”
According to Eindhoven Dagblad, PSV have a five-year deal ready for the youngster, who will cost €10.5 million with a 10% resale clause.
Romero has made 39 appearances for the Velez Sarsfield first team, netting eight goals and adding two assists.
