PSV Eindhoven have confirmed the signing of young Brazilian midfielder Mauro Júnior from Desportivo Brasil.

The 18-year-old has been on the Eindhoven’s sides radar for the last four years with the midfielder playing in some friendlies whilst on trial with Jong PSV last year.
Finally, with Mauro Júnior finally turning 18, PSV have been able to announce the youngster’s signing on a five-year contract.
PSV director Marcel Brands told the club’s website, “He left a good impression during his internship. Since then we have kept in touch. We had to wait until he was eighteen, which he became in May. We put everything in motion at that point. ”
Mauro Júnior played just 54 minutes in the first team of Desportivo Brasil, a club from the fourth division in the state of São Paulo.
