The 27-year-old has clashed with Den Bosch coach Ruud Kaiser this season, and has been allowed to leave the club in order to join PSV until the end of the season.
Quekel has not been signed for the first team but to add options to Jong PSV, who are currently 12th in the Eerste Divisie. The deal is similar to that of Alex Schalk’s last season, who joined from NAC on loan to score goals for the reserves.
Quekel started his career with Oss, scoring 36 goals in 85 games before going on to have spells with Dordrecht and Helmond Sport before joining Den Bosch in 2013. The striker has netted 24 goals in 47 games for Den Bosch.
