PSV Eindhoven made it three wins from three with a rather comfortable 2-0 victory over Roda JC in the Philips Stadion.

Hector Moreno, Andres Guardado, Jetro Willems, and Memphis Depay were all special guests at the Philips Stadion and they all watched PSV dominate from the start.

After Hirving Lozano missed a great opportunity to open the scoring, Jurgen Locadia made it 1-0 on nine minutes with a clinical finish after a long ball by Marco van Ginkel. After 24 minutes, Locadia had an effort parried by Hidde Jurjus, who is on loan from PSV, but Lozano was on hand to net the rebound to make it 2-0.

Only some fine saves from Jurjus kept the score down before the break, while at the other end Roda JC failed to test Jeroen Zoet, who is being linked with a move to Newcastle United.

In the second half, PSV continued to waste opportunities to add to their score, with Luuk de Jong failing to net on what could be his final appearance for the club. In the end it was comfortable for PSV, who make it three from three while Roda are still waiting for their first victory.
