PSV Eindhoven came back from a goal down to record a 4-2 win over FC Twente and keep the pressure on leaders Ajax.

moreno psv eFeyenoord saw their title chances all but slip away with a defeat at AZ earlier on Sunday, and it seemed PSV could also find themselves in trouble when Jari Oosterwijk stooped to head the visitors in front after eight minutes.

However, PSV then equalised on 21 minutes with Andres Guardado’s free-kick headed in by Hector Moreno. The Mexican duo then combined again two minutes later to put PSV ahead with Moreno heading in a corner this time.

Ten minutes before the break Luciano Narsingh raced through on goal before sliding in PSV’s third and the home side headed into the half time break fully in control. Memphis Depay was then paraded round the Philips Stadion to say his goodbye’s to the crowd after his move to Manchester United in the summer.

At the start of the second half Luuk de Jong and Jurgen Locadia passed up excellent chances to put the game to bed, and Twente pulled one back with twenty minutes to go as Ede rounded Jeroen Zoet before slotting into the empty net. Any chance of a comeback was swiftly ended by substitute Florian Jozefzoon though, with the winger finishing off a pass from De Jong.

The victory keeps PSV three points behind Ajax at the top, while Twente sit 16th.
