Mark van Bommel was hoping to sign Arjen Robben earlier this summer but he instead chose to retire.
According to Algemeen Dagblad and BILD, PSV are now interested in signing Franck Ribery, who is a free agent after leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
The 36-year-old French international was set for a move to Saudi Arabia this week but has cancelled that transfer at the last minute. A move to be reunited with his former Bayern teammate Mark van Bommel is now possible, but only if PSV Eindhoven sells Hirving Lozano.
The Mexican has been heavily linked with Napoli recently but he remains in Eindhoven for the time being.

I’d like to see that. Ribery might be 36 but he was still very good last season he is tricky. Think he could do a job for a season. Surprised Robben retired he could have to imo.
