toivonen dToivonen’s deal runs out in the summer, and although PSV have offered him improved terms, the Swedish international wants to earn more money.

Currently, The midfielder earns around €900,000 a year, just below the clubs salary cap of €1 million, and is one of the highest paid players at the club.

Coach Phillip Cocu has told Voetbal International that PSV will not break their budget for Toivonen or any other player at the moment.

Newcastle United, Norwich City, and Fiorentina have all shown interest in the player, and will battle it out for his signature, if PSV cannot convince their star to stay.
