After the game, Ramselaar said, ”I was given a good pass and I made a good individual action and it was a good goal, to score my first goal for PSV is a great feeling and of course a relief and it is great that I could help the team on the way to a victory so early in the game ”.

”It’s important to make a good impression having made the step up to PSV from FC Utrecht and a goal can only help my confidence. I want to continue in this way and I hope to achieve only good things with PSV. Scoring your first goal for your new club is a weight off your shoulders especially if it takes a while. But it’s great that we were 4-0 up after only 24 minutes and it’s a compliment to the team that we managed to go on to keep a clean sheet too.

On how he has settled at his new club he added ”I have been well received by my PSV teammates since my move and things are going well. I was pleased that I was in the starting lineup and that I could show my worth and put in a good performance for PSV tonight.”
