The 26-year-old has not featured in the Premier League so far this season, and with Van Wolfswinkel not featuring in Alex Niels plans, Betis have swooped to take him to Spain for the rest of the season.
Van Wolfswinkel joined Norwich in 2013 after a successful sting at Sporting Lisbon, but had a terrible first season in England, scoring only one goal as the club were relegated. The former Utrecht hit-man spent last season on loan with St Etienne, but also failed to impress in France, with only five goals in 24 appearances.
Van Wolfswinkel becomes the 2nd Dutchman to join Real Betis this summer after Rafael van der Vaart joined the club on a free from Hamburg.
