Elia was detained by Police on Monday after coming in for questioning on his involvement in a brawl in Rotterdam city centre last Thursday. A 26-year-old man was knocked out unconscious, with AD reporting that sources have indicated that Elia dealt the first blow.
After his release, Elia took to Twitter to respond to the media speculation surrounding the incident. He tweeted, “You will soon know the truth. 1 thing nobody got touched.”
Jullie komen snel achter de waarheid ✌?️ 1 ding heb niemand aangeraakt.
