FC Twente manager Rene Hake has extended his contract with the club from Enschede until 2019.

Under his tutelage ‘The Tukkers’ are currently 7th in the Eredivisie after much upheaval behind the scenes at the club.
Rene Hake responded with the following quote about this extension, ”It is great that the club show such confidence in me and it is also nice to receive appreciation from the club.”
Technical director Jan van Halst reacted to the news, ”The circumstances were not always easy but Rene has taken his responsibility as manager and he has helped the team to perform well.
“Also working together with his staff and the players we trust him to continue his good work to continue to build this club up to achieve sporting success.
Hake has been the head coach of FC Twente since September 2015. He previously managed Jupiler League team FC Emmen from 2010 – 2012.
