Defender Devyne Rensch has been named the Ajax talent of the year.

The 17-year-old was awarded the Abdelhak Nouri Trofee on Thursday after being chosen as the talent of the year.
He follows in the footsteps of some great talents such as Wesley Sneijder, Christian Eriksen and Matthijs de Ligt. The last two years have seen Ryan Gravenberch and Naci Unuvar take the award.
Rensch is a versatile defender, who can play along the backline. He has developed rapidly as a right-back for Jong Ajax this season and was impressive for Ajax during pre-season.
Rensch is waiting to make his official debut in the Ajax eleven, but it will not be too far off.
