joachim aFeyenoord had striker Graziano Pelle back from a suspension, and the Italian striker looked a little rusty early on as he failed to connect with a number of crosses.

The away side dominated possession in the first half, but failed to breach a determined RKC defence, who restricted Feyenoord to shots from outside the box.

RKC keeper Jan Seda was in good form to deny Graziano Pelle twice in the second half, while Lex Immers put a free header wide in Feyenoord’s best chance of the game.

RKC barely threatened, but in the final minute of injury time, Aurelien Joachim smashed a left footed drive past Erwin Mulder, and the final whistle sounded straight from the kick off.

The win represents the first time RKC coach Erwin Koeman has managed a win over his brother Ronald, and eases his side’s relegation fears.

RKC remain 2nd bottom but are now only two points from safety, while Feyenoord miss the chance to move up to third, and will need to improve for next weekends meeting with PSV.
