Ten minutes later it was 2-0, and Falkenburg had his second, this time heading in a cross, but once again RKC stopper Seda should have done better.

RKC showed nothing going forward, and Go Ahead extended their lead on 65 minutes, with Falkenburg completing his ha-trick with a nice finish.

Seven minutes later, RKC defender Frank van Mosselveld fouled Marnix Kolder in the box, and the striker picked himself up to slot home the spot kick.

Just before the end, RKC pulled back one goal through Denzel Butcher, but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation, and the match finished 4-1.

Go Ahead Eagles have enjoyed a very good start to their Eredivisie campaign, and the win pushes them up to fifth position temporarily, after only one loss in their opening five games.

RKC on the other hand will be frustrated with the heavy loss, which was their second home defeat of the campaign, and they currently sit 13th.
