Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben will miss six weeks of action after suffering a knee injury during Wednesday’s German Cup game with Augsburg.

After opening the scoring for his side, Robben suffered a deep cut on his knee in a collision with the Augsburg keeper, and will now miss six weeks of action.
The Bundesliga breaks up for its winter break on the 22nd of December, and Robben is set to be miss all the action until then, including the Club World Cup, and Champions League tie with Manchester City.
Robben has been in terrific form for club, and country so far this season, with the winger scoring 13 goals in 16 games in all competitions.
He spoke of his disappointment after his injury, “Of course, I am very disappointed,”
“I was in good form and I was really looking forward to every game with the team. I will come back fit and will help the team achieve the goals we have set for the season.”
