Arjen Robben remains relaxed about his future at Bayern Munich despite coming into the last six months of his deal with the Bavarian giants.

The 33-year-old’s current deal expires in the summer but Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirmed in December that contract talks with Robben would take place shortly.

However, speaking to Kicker, Robben stated that he is focused on playing matters instead of his future. He said, “There have been no talks with the club yet but I am relaxed about it.

“The most important thing is to stay healthy, focus on the sporting situation and play my games.”

Should Robben become a free agent in the summer then there are plenty of clubs willing to sign the former Dutch international. His father Hans said, “We’re calmly waiting for the situation to develop.

“Bayern will come to us sooner or later, there is no deadline.

“Still we wish to have clarity in the near future. There are some requests for Arjen.”
