After Louis van Gaal was announced as the new coach of Manchester United last week, Arjen Robben was linked to a reunion with the man who bought him for Bayern Munich, and coaches him in the Dutch national team.
However Arjen Robben has quashed these rumours, and stated that he and his family are very happy to remain in Munich.
Robben told De Telegraaf, “I’ll stay with Bayern Munich. Period.”
“Incidentally, I cannot imagine that Bayern would lose me . I just renewed my contract and we are happy with each other.
“Look , it’s very different when you ‘re not completely happy . I would certainly be open to it , because I had a fantastic time with Van Gaal at Bayern and know him well. But , the fact is that I’m at a club where my family and I have great time . ”
“Van Gaal and Guardiola are the best trainers with whom I worked . So yes , I feel good and stay where I am . The chance is zero that I make the switch.”
Please and let man united move forward
Thank goodness!
Manchester United are vile scum, and Arjen Robben is in a different class altogether.
