Arjen Robben scored on his final appearance for Bayern Munich in a 5-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt which secured the Bundesliga title.

Robben announced months ago that he would be leaving Bayern Munich this summer when his contract expires. On Saturday, the 35-year-old began on the bench as Bayern looked for a win which would secure the Bundesliga title ahead of Borussia Dortmund.

With the score at 3-1, Robben would come off the bench in the second half alongside Frank Ribery, who was also saying goodbye to Bayern. Ribery made it 4-1 before Robben sealed the victory with his final goal for the Bavarian club.

The 5-1 win sealed Bayern the Bundesliga title, which was Robben’s eighth in the ten years he has been with the club.

The Dutchman signs off in Germany having made 307 appearances, in which he scored 143 goals and added 101 assists.

It is still unclear what Robben’s future is. A return to the Netherlands with PSV or Groningen has been rumoured along with a move to Canada. He has also hinted that he could call it quits due to his injury issues.
