The Dutch winger was making his comeback from an abdominal issue in the DFB-Pokal semi-final on Tuesday, but limped off just 16 minutes after appearing from the bench, as Bayern crashed out on penalties.
Bayern Munich have now announced that Robben has suffered a calf tear, and will miss the rest of the season. This will come as a huge blow to the club, who face a Champions League semi-final against Barcelona soon.
It now remains to be seen whether Robben will be fit for Netherlands crucial European Championship qualifier against Latvia in June.
