Heracles netted two late goals to beat Roda JC 3-1 on Sunday and move them away from the Eredivisie drop zone.

The home side had the lead on 18 minutes with Wiljan Pluim curling into the bottom corner from the edge of the box after being set up by Mitchell Donald.
Ten minutes before the break Heracles equalised with Simon Cziommer firing a shot from just outside the box through a number of bodies and past Filip Kurto.
Guus Hupperts had a great chance to put Roda into the lead early in the second half, but after rounding Heracles keeper Rempko Pasveer, the winger’s shot came back off the post.
On 80 minutes Heracles took the lead, as Ousamma Tannane’s long range effort was fumbled into the net by Kurto.
Tannane then sealed the win for Heracles on 88 minutes with another long range effort which flew into the bottom corner.
Heracles move up to 14th after their first win since October, while Roda slip to 15th and only one spot above the drop zone.
