Eerste Divisie side Roda JC have reached an agreement with former Maastricht striker Danny Schreurs for the 2014-15 season.

The 26 year old was a free agent after leaving his former club MVV Maastricht, having spent two years at the club, scoring 16 times.
This is what Miners’ head coach Rene Trost had to say about it all to club’s website,
“I am delighted that we have been able to act to get a new striker in adequacy with the arrival of Danny, we have more options in the attack, he guarantees goals.”
Schreurs came through the youth system at Maastricht, but then moved on to Fortuna Sittard, PEC Zwolle, and Willem II, before returning to MVV in 2012.
The striker who has been given the number 37 shirt has scored 69 goals in 193 league games that he has played.
