Roma are set to miss Justin Kluivert for a key upcoming Serie A clash after the winger suffered an injury to his right adductor in the latter stages of the Rome side’s comfortable win over Cagliari on Saturday.

Kluivert, 19, has struggled for game time in Italy since making the switch from Ajax last year. However, since Claudio Ranieri took over as manager the winger has come back in favour, playing in 7 out of 8 matches since then, providing three assists.

It is not yet known how long Kluivert will be out for, but he is doubtful for at least the next game against Genoa as the Dutchman’s side look to secure a Champions League spot for next season.
