The winger is almost certain to leave Old Trafford on loan in January, having not made a single start in the Premier League so far this season.
Everton have been strongly linked, but it appears that Serie A giants Roma may have made the first move. Tutto Mercato are reporting that club sporting director Frederic Massara has made contact with Manchester United to discuss a loan move.
The Italian club hope to take Memphis initially on loan with the option to make the deal permanent for a fee of €25 million.
