“I’m feeling really good at Zwolle and I am looking forward to another year here with my staff to make sure the squad continues to develop themselves. Our aim remains to keep Zwolle in Eredivisie for many years to come. The negotiations in South Africa went swiftly so it was an easy decision to make”

Technical Director Gerard Nijkamp is content that Jans will stay with Zwolle for another season: “We were really keen to keep Jans here for another season. The squad has made great progress during his reign.  We are looking to grow even more under him so that he can leave us as a stable Eredivisie side. There is a great mutual feeling between him and the board which helped to us agreeing a new deal so quickly.”

Ron Jans became Zwolle boss in the summer of 2013 and has done well so far this season. The Zwollenaren were even topped the Eredivisie table in the early weeks of the season but have now slipped into a more modest 11th spot.
