Feyenoord have paid around €3 million to bring the Swede to De Kuip from Heerenveen.
After completing the deal on Monday, Larsson said, ”It’s been a long summer and I am delighted to have signed for Feyenoord.
”I believe that Feyenoord is the best choice for my development as a player.
”Feyenoord is a very big club and I am starting to find out just how big it is. I am slightly overwhelmed with all the support I have received.
”Even though moving abroad was an option I get the chance to play Champions League football in a beautiful stadium such as De Kuip.”
Sam Larsson previously played for SC Heerenveen since August 2014 where he made 98 appearances for the Friesland side providing 30 assists and scoring 23 goals.
He first arrived in the Netherlands from his native Sweden where he played for IFK Goteborg.
