The 22-year-old joined PSV in 2013 after failing to break into Sporting Lisbon’s first team, but in Eindhoven the right back has been impressive, and has since earned 12 caps for the Colombian national team.
Quoted in the latest edition of PSV Supporter Arias spoke of his desire to continue his improvement at the Eredivisie leaders before moving on to another league.
Arias said, “Our priority is to win the championship,”
“We will do everything to achieve that goal. I would also like to contribute my bit and be part of the group to win the title.”
“Then in the distant future I hope to have developed so well at PSV that I might be able to go to a big foreign league.
“For example, to a club like Arsenal”
Arias had nothing but good words to say about PSV though, ” PSV is a very fine club. Everything is well organized, the atmosphere is pleasant. Both the players and the technical staff go well with each other. At PSV I think the level is very high. “
Well as long as he stays focused on what he produces at PSV then he can go wherever he wants if it’s his choice.
But for the moment he’s with us so I hope he won’t forget it 🙂
