Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri expects Matthijs de Ligt to become an important player for his side as soon as he adapts to Italian football.

De Ligt was widely criticised in the Italian media after a difficult debut in the 4-3 win over Napoli two weeks ago. However, Sarri is full of confidence in the Dutch international.
He told a press conference on Friday, “It is important that he adapts to Italian football as quickly as possible.
“I am convinced that within a few months he will become an important player for us.”
De Ligt is set to feature on Saturday as Juventus travel to Fiorentina.
