According to BILD, Schalke 04 are interested in bringing Klaas Jan Huntelaar back to the club from Ajax.

Schalke are struggling at the bottom of the Bundesliga and are looking for help in their battle against relegation.
According to BILD, the club is hoping to bring Huntelaar back to the club and other reports in Germany are claiming that the striker has agreed to move to his former club.
The 37-year-old is a back-up at Ajax this season, scoring five goals in ten league games, and recently announced he was expecting to retire at the end of the season. However, Schalke’s call may persuade Huntelaar to reconsider.
The striker played for Schalke between 2010 and 2017 before moving back to Ajax. In 240 games for Schalke, Huntelaar scored 126 goals and added 35 assists.
