Schalke are on the lookout for a new stopper with Alexander Nübel set to depart in the summer for Bayern Munich.
According to The Sun, Schalke will target Tim Krul, who is currently trying to help Norwich City avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Norwich currently sit bottom of the table and Schalke believe they could bring Krul to the club for cheap should they fall into the Championship.
The Netherlands international has come into the limelight recently with two saves in the FA Cup penalty shootout win over Tottenham Hotspur recently. Krul is hoping for a recall to the Dutch national team squad for the two friendlies later this month.
