Lasse Schone is back in Amsterdam to train with Ajax after his release from Genoa.

The 34-year-old midfielder was released by Genoa earlier this month and is free to join a new club. He is currently considering his future, but in the meantime he has turned up at Ajax to maintain his fitness.
Schone played for Ajax between 2012 and 2019 before making the move to Genoa. However, there is no talk of Schone getting a deal with Ajax yet.
Speaking with VI, Schone said “It is without obligation, I can train to keep my fitness level. With a view to next summer, the European Championship, it is also important to have fit months. I don’t know where that will eventually be.”
