Seedorf signed a one-year contract with the second division club in July, but after five months in charge he has reportedly been replaced by former England boss Sven-Göran Eriksson.
It is the second time that Seedorf has been sacked in his short managerial career with his first job with AC Milan also ending after only a few months.
