Seedorf was named successor to Massimiliano Allegri in January after calling an end to his playing career at Brazilian club Botafogo, but despite being in charge for only four months, the Dutchman is to be axed.
Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Monday night that AC Milan are set to announce former striker Filippo Inzaghi as their new coach, after he talks held with Adriano Galliani.
The 38-year-old former Milan midfielder has had poor results since taking charge of the club, and has also reportedly lost the dressing room due to his training methods. A disappointing 7th placed finish in Serie A also sees AC Milan miss out on European football next season.
Seedorf’s record at AC Milan stands at 11 wins, 9 losses, and 2 draws.
