After the game, Padt said, ”Two years ago during my first match against PSV in Eindhoven I saved a penalty from Luuk De Jong and I knew that I was going to remain on my line and not dive either way this afternoon and my decision worked out well.

”It was very important for us to get our first point of the season today. We had no chance against Feyenoord in our opening game of the season where we lost 5-0 and last week against FC Twente we were 3-0 up and still lost the game 4-3 so it was vital that we got at least a point today.

”Our next objective is to finally get our first victory of the season when the Eredivisie resumes after the international break.”
