depajfbjProtecting a 1-0 lead from the first leg PSV were barely troubled in Belarus, and two late goals from Memphis Depay eased Phillip Cocu’s side into tomorrow’s group stage draw.

The first half was a dull affair with neither side able to create any real chances, but after the break it livened up with Memphis Depay positive he should have had a penalty after being tripped in the box, but the referee waved away appeals.

In the closing stages, Luuk de Jong blasted over the bar from a few yards out, while Depay was also guilty of a huge miss as he shot straight at the goalkeeper when the ball fell at his feet in the box.

However in the 89th minute, Depay excellently weaved through three opponents before sliding the ball past the goalkeeper to give PSV the lead. A minute later, Depay added a 2nd as he raced onto a through ball, and although his lifted finish came back off the post, he slotted in the rebound.

PSV have started the season in great form, and after disappointing in the Europa League group stages last season, they will be hoping for a good European campaign.
