Sheffield United have confirmed the signing of Richairo Zivkovic on loan from Chinese side Changchun Yatai.

Last week, the surprising news broke that Sheffield United were hoping to sign the Dutchman and on deadline day the move has been officially confirmed.

Zivkovic joins on loan until the end of the season but there is an option to make the move permanent in the summer.

The striker made his breakthrough at the age of 16 at Groningen but could not live upto expectations after joining Ajax in 2014. Zivkovic only made 11 appearances for the first-team in Amsterdam before loan spells with Utrecht and Willem II.

In 2017 he moved to Belgian side KV Oostende before moving to Changchun Yatai last year. Now 23, Zivkovic made a good impression in the Chinese first division with 15 goals in 25 appearances.

The Netherlands U21 international will now be hoping to impress in the Premier League.
