Xavi Simons was involved in PSG’s first-team training on Monday as new head coach Mauricio Pochettino gave a number of talents a chance to impress.

The 17-year-old midfielder is still to make his first-team debut in Paris despite being on the bench on two occasions.

On Monday, Simons joined other young talents Edouard Michut, Kenny Nagera, El Chadaille Bitshiabu, and Soumaula Coulibaly in training. Mauricio Pochettino wanted to run the rule over the youngsters.

The new head coach may give Simons his debut in the first-team in the coming weeks. The Dutchman joined the club from Barcelona in 2019 and is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in Europe.
