BILD reported on Thursday morning that Sinkgraven was on the verge of joining Peter Bosz in Germany and De Telegraaf have also confirmed this news.
Ajax are set to receive €5 million for the 23-year-old, who has one year left on his contract in Amsterdam.
Sinkgraven joined Ajax from Heerenveen back in 2015 but he has struggled with injury issues since then. A midfielder by trade, Sinkgraven was converted into a left-back when Bosz was in charge of Ajax.
Back in February, Bosz said on the Ajax website, “For me, Daley was a revelation. He played great in the time that I was Ajax’s trainer. Lasse Schöne was very important ‘at six’. Daley just as important in the left-back position.”
