sinkgravThe 19-year-old has been excellent for Heerenveen so far this season, and his form has attracted interest from a number of big clubs such as Manchester United, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich. However Sinkgraven feels a move to the top of Dutch football with a club such as Ajax is a better route for his career.

Speaking to Omrop Fryslan Sinkgraven said, “I see it as a compliment that such big clubs are interested.”

“Ideally I would first play at the top of the Netherlands. Abroad I think is still too early. Ajax would be a nice step.”

Sinkgraven has a contract with Heerenveen until 2017, and any move to Ajax would not come cheap for the Eredivisie champions, who initially refused to move for the midfielder after selling Daley Blind in the summer.
