The young Oranje side face Germany on November 13th and will do so with six new faces in the squad with Goalkeeper Maarten de Fockert, defender Derrick Luckassen, midfielder Rick Karsdorp, and attackers Wessel Dammers, Mohammed Rayhi and Vincent Janssen all called up for the first time.
After failing to qualify for the European Championships next year, it seems the KNVB have decided to focus the U21’s on the class of 1994, despite the likes of Marco van Ginkel, and Adam Maher still available for call up.
The full squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Mickey van der Hart (Go Ahead Eagles), Maarten de Fockert (Heerenveen)
Defenders: Karim Rekik (PSV), Joost van Aken (Heerenveen), Hans Hateboer (Groningen), Derrick Luckassen (AZ), Sven van Beek (Feyenoord),
Midfielders: Jorrit Hendrix (PSV), Nathan Ake (Chelsea), Daley Sinkgraven (Heerenveen), Rick Karsdorp (Feyenoord), Tonny Vilhena (Feyenoord), Joris van Overheem (Dordrecht),
Attackers: Mohammed Rayhi (PSV), Wessel Dammers (Feyenoord), Vincent Janssen (Almere City), Jean Paul Boetius (Feyenoord), Anwar El Ghazi (Ajax)
